I’ve been working out for 25 years. I started working with Stephen 20 months ago and he’s helped me hit goals that I didn’t think were possible as a 43yr old. When I started I was 185lbs 25% body fat. Now I’m 175lbs 20% body fat, while gaining muscle mass and strength.

I started working with Stephen in February 2022. I had been involved in numerous group fitness classes and was ready to take my fitness to the next level. Stephen helped me find confidence in the gym, master strength training exercises, and improve my relationship with food. After a year and half, I’m in the best shape of my life. I now have a deep understanding of how to fuel my body and my mind well to achieve the physical and mental results I wanted. And I’ve been able to achieve that in a high-stress work environment. The investment I made in Stephen’s coaching has proved invaluable.

About Me
I provide evidence-based, client goal driven, resistance and cardiovascular training programs, personalized, attainable nutrition approaches, and practical strategies for improving mental health, recovery, and stress management.
Are you ready to invest in making real improvements to your physical and mental health? Are you eager to be empowered by learning more about how your brain and body work? Do you wish you could respond more mindfully to an environment where the unhealthy choice is usually the easier one?
After five years in personal training, I’ve seen countless people struggle to interpret conflicting messages about nutrition and exercise that fill popular media. Witnessing these challenges gave me a passion to help clients instilll science based habits for exercise and nutrition that lead to improved quality of life, a better relationship with food, and healthier body image .
I have another motive that’s deeply personal. In 2016 my wife began a long struggle with depression and anxiety that took a severe toll on her overall health. The work we have done since has made us keenly aware of how, our mental health impacts our physical health, and vice versa. If food or alcohol is our primary tool for managing our stress, our health suffers. If we can’t set boundaries with work or family demands, we’ll struggle to make time for exercise. If our happiness with our body is governed by the unrealistic standards of social media, our exercise will motivated by shame rather than self-care. I see the pursuit of physical and mental health as inseparable. When we improve one, so does the other.
